THE ICECLE
THE ICECLE
A frosty lamp design
The Icecle project was started after observing how light behaves in the middle of ice. More specifically on a stalactite.
Based on this inspiration, a study was made of shapes that were also consistent with the future production, and with that we obtained:
triangles
prisms
trapezoids
pyramids
Thinking about the idea of gradation of the passage of light and aligning the product with an industrial level production, the model would be built entirely in acrylic where the top would be more opaque, the middle translucent and the tip transparent.
